June Reunion Update

Well, here it is June 2nd already and the once in a life time family reunion event is just around the corner! Before I go on here, Thank You to all who have contributed to the cause, volunteered to bring side dishes for Saturday's picnic main event, or indicated that you would help in other ways.  I greatly appreciate your help and assistance!

Also, I am very pleased to let everyone know that our Uncle Earl Elmquist will be with us for the reunion!  Uncle Earl, now 92+ years, is the family patriarch and we are honored to have Uncle Earl with us for this occasion.  In fact some are coming to the reunion specifically because Uncle Earl will be there! In addition, Cousin Marian Kent, Earl Leaf, and members the Peterson and Saline families, branches of our extended family group, will also be with us. Did I say that this reunion is a once in a life time event!  I think that it is worth repeating!

I will not repeat here the day to day details of the reunion event!  Everyone can reread the previous reunion updates for this information.  However, just as a reminder the Friday night kick off dinner and the Sunday afternoon wrap up lunch are both Dutch Treat at Trapper's Family Restaurant.

Surprisingly not all of the response cards sent out have been returned, but it looks like the turnout will be between 30 and 50 persons if everyone does indeed come out for the event. That is pretty darn good!  So, if you are one of the few who has not returned your response card and are on the proverbial fence trying to make a decision, just do it! No response card or E-mail necessary!  Come on out and join the family!  You won't regret your decision!  We look forward to seeing you in Chisago City for any or all the event days!
